Design/Build of a Thermal Oxidizer System IES initially performed process definition, technology assessment and system sizing for the control of a pharmaceutical tableting and coating operation exhaust stream containing hazardous organic vapors. The selected system includes a thermal oxidizer, an acid gas scrubber and associated equipment and controls. IES' scope for this project included equipment pre-purchase specifications, equipment selection, installation design, selecting and retaining installation contractors, construction management, start-up, checkout and training.
