JESSICA C. LEONARD Environmental Safety and Health Engineer
Ms. Leonard has more than 6 years of experience in the environmental and health & safety consulting field. Her principal responsibility is to manage ongoing EHS projects for various pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Ms. Leonard performs EHS audits at pharmaceutical and biotech companies to ensure compliance with OSHA, NRC, State DEP, EPA regulations. She writes required written programs such as Hazard Communication & Laboratory Hygiene, Control of Hazardous Energy (aka Lockout/Tagout), Emergency and Contingency, Exposure Control, and Radiation Safety, as well as NRC license applications, recordkeeping software and annual program audits. She also performs Biosafety, HazCom, and Radiation Safety training. She has prepared such programs for Adolor, Morphotek, ViroPharma, Protarga, Cell Pathways, and Centocor. Ms. Leonard is also adept at environmental compliance activities, including permitting of new and modified emissions sources, preparing Synthetic Minor Applications, performing wastewater sampling, and managing waste disposal. She is also trained in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
